Organ Donation?

I always wanted to be an organ donor. I always think that why dont we just donate our organs and give others a chance to live since we're goin to die. Isn't it such a waste to let our organs rot in the coffin or just cremated in the crematorium? Instead, we can give other patients who are desperately in need of certain organs to carry on with their lives.

However, I came across this website the other day. Organ donor application form.

I hesitated! I hesitated n stared at the form for 5 min. Why? Perhaps I'm afraid. I am afraid of losing my organs, but I wanted to be an organ donor since I'm young. Then, sumthing strike my mind. Remember about a case where a student (if I'm mistaken) who donated all his body parts not long ago? Every parts of our body can donated. To be precise, it should be called tissue & organ donation. Not only major organs like kidney, liver, heart, etc. can be donated, some of the tissues like skin, bone marrow and others are eqaully useful for different patients suffering from various illness.

What's the main purpose of pursuing a MBBS degree? To carry the "Dr." in front of our name? Or to save lives? So, I chose this path, I wanna help others, I wanna give others a better quality of lives, and i wanna do this even after I'm dead! So, I have decided! I'm gonna sign up as an organ donor as soon as I'm back in Msia.

So, what about you?

Organ Donor Gonnabe,

Missed-Autopsy

Darn, there's an autopsy in the mortuary today and I missed it. I always wanted to witness an autopsy other than motorcycle accident (cuz I had witness a case on motorcycle accident a fortnight back.)

Yeah, it's part of our academic curricular to witness at least 4 autopsies through out our second year. Oh no, this remind me of the autopsy report I supposed to submit since I had witness one the other day. Arh.... Forget bout it.

I blame the missed-chance to witness an autopsy of an insecticide poisoning case on my bike. Yes, my expensive-yet-problematic pulsar.(as quoted by my housemate, Yuwei) Been really frustrated bout my Pulsar recently. It always break down when I'm in a hurry. And when I send it to the mechanic, it just look perfectly well. WTH? Any recommendation on which mechanic should i try next? Basically, I tried almost of all the mechanics available in Manipal. Arh....

p/s: If you all want some further elaboration of the autopsy, do visit Khaimeng's blog. For pictures, kindly click on k0k's blog. All the links are available at the side.

Disturbed & frustrated,

Indian vs Malaysian

I think Msia seriously need more people like her. Who? Click and it will link you to my classmate, Kok's entry.

Come on people, sometimes i do really think Indians or Resident of India are better than us in some aspect. Forget about that Msia is a better developeded country, but there's still some aspect we could learn from them.

I guess after you reading kOk's entry, you will agree with me that Msia need more people who are HONEST, like AKA. Honestly is the way to success in life, business, relationship, etc. Some of the them just don't understand this simple fact. Just quote a simple example, if you are given more change while paying, will you return it or keep it urself?

Besides, i realise people here understand better english or kannada or what so ever. Don't agree? Just look at the public transport, especially buses in Msia n India. Compare them. When there's a big sign indicating "NO VANDALISM", how does Msian interpret them, i guess that dont need any further elaboration. Anyone who took a public bus will surely have some first hand experience of vulgar words. On the other hand, I seriously dont find any scribbling or vandalism in their public bus, as far as i'm concerned. (p/s: I will get some pic the nxt time i take a bus)

Yes, Malaysia is surely ahead of India in developing aspect. But people, let's behave like we are one of them, not like a barbarian emerge from nowhere. "MALAYSIA BOLEH" slogan is not for no mean, let's prove that we are Malaysian yang BOLEH.

"Malaysia BOLEH?"----> "Mesti BOLEH!!!"

Still a faithful Msian,
~FuYew~

脑 vs 心

常常觉得脑很厉害。
因为它可以麻醉心。

脑与心, 那我干脆选脑了。。。

Happy Mummy's Day

I thought of composing a poem, but my english is not at all effective.
I thought of making a mtv, but the resources i have is limited.
I thought of writting a touching essay, but my mind is not at all creative.
So, I choose to do this. I chose to sing a song to my dearest mummy. I wanna tell her that "Mummy, I Love You!"

(Alright, I know my voice sucks, but this is for my mum. So if u dun like it just leave. Thx for ur co-operation)

I wanna let my mummy knows that, you are the best! You are always there for the three of us without fail. You love us undividedly, and whole-heartedly. It need not only be Mother's Day for us to show you our love, cuz deep inside our heart, we love you! I want everyday to be as special as Mother's Day for you, be healthy and stay happy forever. Lastly, Happy Mummy's Day to my dearest mummy and also all the mummy around the world.

Today's Manipal

Today's Manipal.... Where should i start?

Alright, let's talk bout the weather. Weather is changing rapidly in this small University town. Clouds are forming, thunder flashin over the sky almost every night, and of course, RAIN. I love rain. I love sitting on my study table, staring at the rain drops from my window. The rhythm and rhyme of rain, it sips directly into my heart. Not forgetting the wind, isn't it so perfect? Forget about the scorching sun during the afternoon and evening, Manipal.... WOW!

Apart from weather, people are changing fast. Sometimes i really dont understand what people thinks. Perhaps, me myself are changing. I like to have time on my own yet i like accompanian. I like to shut the door and keep evthing to myself yet i like to share with someone. I tend to think too much yet the fact is so simple. Hmm... I'm myself. Yes, no? =)

Alright, let's talk bout studies. 5 weeks have passed, assignments and the amount to study is piling up. No class test, no pressure, no Ummmmhhh to study, slacking, lazy bug infection.

Ok, enough of all that. Let's gossip and update everyone with events takin place in Manipal.
(1) We hired a new cook, so we will not be eating out so often. Only during every Sunday.
(2) My parents are visiting India during May-June. They will drop by Manipal and I'm really excited about that.
(3) North-South games is currently on-going. I took part only in Badminton and we lost. North is leading by 9-4 and they gonna win this edition is guess.
(4) Supremo Games will be up next. Still thinkin whether to take part cuz Block exams will be around the corner.
(5) Been playin DOTA for the past few weeks bcuz of Shaki. Haha. Thot of dropping that habit but.... Haha. DOTA rulez, isn't it? GODLIKE!!!
(6) Errr... really cant think of anymore. Manipal is boring.....

Here's some of the pictures i wanted to upload since years ago.

So, there goes the Hong Kong & ShenZhen trip. It is such a coincidence that we reached at the same time in KLIA with Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong after they won the All-England and Swiss Open. We din get to take pic with them bcuz there's too many supporters waiting for them outside. Here's some pic we took.
