First week in India

Hello my friend... sorry for the delay in posting a blog cuz i was waiting for the internet access to be fixed in my room...and now, i have got it... This is how it goes since i landed in India on 10th March 2006.

10th March 2006
Departed from KLIA at 9.55pm and really wanna thanks my whole family for coming to the airport.. and also not forgetting all my friends and especially brathars! Thank you so much and i really appreciate it. The plane from KL to Bangalore airport took around 3 and half hours and we landed safely in Bangalore International Airport. After claiming luggage, we were brought to a really nice hotel in Bangalore for a night. Honestly, Bangalore is a really nice city..Imagine a city like KL with Genting's weather... cool...slept at 2am Indian time (2 and half hours difference than M'sia)

11th March 2006
Woke up kinda early..it was like 5am we have to woke up as the flight to Mangalore was early. Took some light breakfast in the hotel and we were again back to Bangalore International Airport. From Bangalore to Mangalore, the flight was only 40 min. When i first landed in Mangalore, holyshit! The sky is totally blue in colour. No clouds at all!!! Really not even a single cloud for miles... and the weather is hot.. Then we took the college bus and head straight to Manipal. Manipal is a small university town with lotsa hospitals and universities around. First, we were brought to the Valley View Hotel for a lunch and interaction session with the seniors. Then, i start seeing ppl like Deevena, Tiru, Su Lin and others. After the lunch, finally we were sorted out into different hostels. And lucky I was kinda satisfy with my room... Big, clean, air-conditioned and i have my own attached bathroom. In the evening, the other seniors from Batch 17 brought us around Manipal and we bought some stuffs. The seniors are all vr vr friendly. Just feel tat Manipal is actually a nice place man!!!

12th March 2006
Nothing much today and meet some new friends. Walk around Manipal and buy those daily need stuff. And the food, it is nice i tell u. Was hearing ppl saying that the food in Manipal sucks and stuff like tat... Tat's all bull shyt! The food here is darn nice and i really like it.haha!!! putting on weight since i was here. The weather here is the same as the weather in Mangalore... blue sky and without a single cloud. Imagine tat man!!! And the seniors says this weather will proceed till april and may... wtf??? haha!!! Although Manipal was no match to big city like KL, Melbourne or London, i just like the place here.. every1 in the street is either a medical student or dentistry student. cool huh??? I really like tis place. And especially the way they drive.... They really make full use of the horns and they drive so recklessly...haha...The Autos are the same... (Auto is a kinda of public transport like tut-tut in Thailand. It only cost u 10 rupees. =P)

13th March 2006
Normal registration process for the bank, college and stuff like tat. Then, we just loiter around the town. Oh yeah, we took a bus and went to a town called Udupi near Manipal. The town is basically bigger than manipal and the shops there are more advance i should say. Walking around and shopping. Nth much after that.

14th March 2006
Sleep, walk around and eat! Haha..

15th March 2006
Today is a big day in India as the people are celebrating the Holy Festival. Ppl are playin colour powder all around the town and it is really fun. We bought coloured powder and we enjoy in the festival. Soaked in different colour like red, blue, yellow, green, etc. Haha!!! It was so much of fun. And till today, the colour has still not fade. Muahahahaha....
